About us

Welsh Corgi Cardigan
Breeds
Our Corgi’s are part of our family! All of our puppies have been raised in our farm house. We live on a 45 acre farm where my husband farms soybeans and corn. I am a business owner of a Dog boarding, training and grooming facility. So our puppies have me around 24/7.  Mom is a Tri-colored Corgi and dad is a Red and white Corgi. We have had both colors thrown from our first litter of 8 puppies, 4 red and whites and 4 tri-colored, all puppies were born the same size/weight, no runts in the litter. At 7 Wks they weighed about 4-5 Lbs, 11 wks 8-9 Lbs and at 15 weeks weighed between 12-14 Lbs., they have had all age appropriate vaccines and wormer administered. They have also received first doses of heartguard.  Puppies have been handled by our family since they are first born. Our grandchildren age range from 1-10 currently, have also been around the puppies and they play very well with our grand children.  Puppies have been acclimated to slip lead leashes, and noise desensitization starting at 2 Wks old. Noise acclimation consists of playing cd’s with different music mixed with inside house and outside noises. From vacuum, telephone, doorbell to traffic, thunder and fireworks. This method helps puppies to be well accustomed to various sounds that they will encounter throughout their life and to not be reactive to these sounds.
