Sunshine Puppies

Welcome to our country farm! We love raising puppies as a hobby and the best part of it is that we get to socialize with each one. Our goal is to find great homes for our puppies.  Our puppies are from local Amish farms from unplanned litters. Most Amish do not spay or neuter their pets, so when they have an unplanned litter, they give us a call to find the puppies a home.   For the first 8 weeks they are raised with their mama until weaned at the Amish farm where they were born. While there, the Amish kids play with them, and some of the pups run around on the farm interacting with the chickens and cats and other farm animals. So all the puppies are well socialized before we ever pick them up.   Then at 8 weeks old or older we pick the puppies up and transfer them to our farm which is also in the middle of Amish country, where we are surrounded by organic farm lands, fresh air, clean water, and lots of nature and squirrels and farm animals. The puppies have a large field where they can run around safely and play away from road traffic, and interact with each other through natural behavior in a natural environment.   They are groomed, cared for, and all their shots are up to date, and in most cases the deworming is also completed before they are purchased for their new home. But in the few cases where the deworming has not been completed, we provide the dewormer solution for free to the buyer to complete the regiment.   All of our puppies are healthy when sold. We also let our customers know of any known medical conditions. For example, sometimes an umbilical cord will not completely recede after clipped creating a minor hernia. It is harmless, but we will have the surgery done to correct it when that happens and then let the customer know. Or we may have a pup whose testicles have not descended, so it would not be good for breeding, but they would be fine as a pet and sometimes save you the cost of neutering. But again, we will let you know so you can make an informed decision.   But all of our puppies sold are healthy with no detected medical conditions unless otherwise stated, and vibrant and full of life and energy.
