Description

"Warning: falling in puppy love may occur at first sight." I am a Sheepadoodle puppy! My Mom is an AKC Old English Sheepdog and my Dad is a Standard Poodle. I was born on May 26th and I will be ready for my forever home on July 21st! I have been family raised on a mini farm in the country around children. I have had my shots and dewormers. I will be checked by a veterinarian and I am microchipped. For more information or to schedule a visit with me, please contact Allen Monday through Saturday. All Sunday calls will be returned on Monday. I will come with a 2 week health guarantee and a 1 year genetic guarantee.   The Sheepadoodle, is a mixed breed between an Old English Sheepdog and a Poodle. Affectionate, fun-loving, and devoted, the Sheepadoodle is wonderful for families or even single person households.  They do get along very well with children and love the attention a child would give them.  The Sheepadoodle does need a great deal of exercise to burn off all its energy, the minimum would be 30 minutes a day, with lots of playtime and fetch as well.  They are very intelligent, protective, and sensitive and make great therapy or emotional support dogs.  They do get along well with other animals as long as they have early training and socialization.  Because they are so intelligent it is important to also give them a lot of mental stimulation as well.  This lively and exuberant breed is easy to train, and would do well with first time dog owners. The Sheepadoodle is typically 16-27 inches high, usually weighs 60-85 pounds, and has a lifespan of 12-15 years.  This is a great breed for those with allergies due to being a low shedder, as well as having a Poodle parent.  The Sheepadoodle's coat is usually long, and can be curly, straight, or wavy.  Their coat needs to be brushed 2-3x/week to avoid matting, and groomed every eight weeks.  It is also important that their ears are kept clean, and nails trimmed 1-2x/month.
