Description

“Meet your pint‑sized companion: fearless, fluffy, and irresistibly lovable.” I am a Yorkshire Terrier puppy! I was born on May 31st and I will be ready for my forever home on July 30th! I have been family raised on a mini farm in the country around children.  I have had my shots and dewormers. I will be checked by a veterinarian and I am microchipped. For more information or to schedule a visit with me, please contact Joseph and Ada Monday through Saturday. All Sunday calls will be returned on Monday. My Mom is a 11lb ACA Yorkie named Pearl. My Dad is a 6lb Yorkie named Tinker. I am well socialized daily. I enjoy playing with children. My favorite is playing doll and being wrapped up in a blanket and soaking up all the love and cuddles!! I will come with my shot and dewormer records, vet records,  and some of my current food. If interested in a health guarantee please ask. We would be happy to help you with setting up transportation and shipping of your puppy if needed at an additional cost. This charming and perky little breed originated in Yorkshire, England during the time of the Industrial Revolution (1760-1840).  Scottish workers traveled to England to work in various factories and mines and brought this ancestor of the Yorkshire Terrier with them.  The dog they brought was not as small as our present day Yorkshire Terrier.  While in England and being mixed with a few other terrier breeds, is subsequently how the smaller Yorkshire Terrier, or Yorkie, came about.  The first documentation of the Yorkshire Terrier in the United States was in 1872.  This intelligent, confident, and playful little breed thinks he is bigger than he is, and sometimes has the personality to go with it.  Yorkies are normally 8-9 inches high and can weigh anywhere from 4-15lbs.  Yorkies are a companion breed and do well with first time dog owners.  Due to their small size they are great for apartment living, but do need their exercise.
