Meet Captain, a fun-loving York-Chon who is looking for his forever home. Captain is incredibly loyal and affectionate - loves to cuddle up, take nap and play outdoors. Captain has been a huge part of me and my families lives but unfortunately; due to my daughter recent diagnosis, we are unable to keep him. Rehoming has been something I have been dreading, so finding the perfect fit for him to continue thriving in is important.
Captain is very well-socialized with other people and dogs. He was raised in a home with (5) children ranging from toddler to teen and other dogs; however, does not do well with other male dogs as he is not neutered. The ideal home would be a calm and caring environment where he would get regular attention and exercise as he loves the outdoors (nothing too strenuous as he is a small dog). He really is the sweetest dog and it breaks my heart to have to rehome him; however, necessary due to these unforeseen conditions.
