Description
“Alert, playful, and full of Schnauzer swagger—this Mini Schnauzer pup is ready to steal your heart!”
I am a Mini Schnauzer puppy! I was born on June 17th and I will be ready for my forever home on August 12th! I have been family raised on a mini farm in the country around children. I have had my shots and de-wormers. I have been checked by a veterinarian and microchipped. For more information or to schedule a visit with me, please contact Mahlon Monday through Saturday. All Sunday calls will be returned on Monday.
My Mom is Lilly and my Dad is Buddy. They both weigh about 10-15lbs.
The Miniature Schnauzer is one of the 20 most sought-after breeds in the United States, England, and Germany. They are very adaptable and can live anywhere, as well as with all age groups. The breed does well with children.. A child’s energy matches the exuberance and playfulness of this breed. The Miniature Schnauzer was initially bred to hunt rodents on farms as well as guard the land. They still seem to have that innate tendency to stalk small animals such as gerbils, hamsters, and other small creatures. The Miniature Schnauzer originated in Germany and was descended from the Standard Schnauzer and Affenpinscher. The name “schnauzer,” comes from the German word, “schnauze” meaning snout or muzzle. The Miniature Schnauzer has a distinguished appearance with its unique bearded face, bushy eyebrows, and upright, floppy ears. They are very intelligent, friendly, loyal, and affectionate. They desire to be with their human family, and love nothing more than to follow you everywhere, and then snuggle on the couch with you as a personal lap blanket. The breed has a coarse double coat which is usually black and white, salt and pepper, all black, and sometimes all white. Due to having this type of coat they are a low shedding breed and are great for those who suffer from allergies.
